Vanessa Monfreda is a collage/ mixed media artist born in Valparaiso, Chile in 1970. From age 2 to 16, she lived in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. In 1986 her family moved to Quito, Ecuador. In 1997 she immigrated to Indianapolis, Indiana.
